ENTRY FEES: Properly completed entries must be submitted on an official CFA Entry form or facsimile, use of the online entry form is interpreted as an official entry in this CFA show, and your email address on the form is considered to be your signature per CFA Show Rule 4.05. Each entry except faxes or online entries must be accompanied by the full entry fee. Make checks payable to Half Moon Cat Club. All checks must be paid in U.S. funds. Make PayPal payments to meloncali@comcast.net must be paid in full by closing date. Email Entry Clerk to confirm receipt of online entries, the Club is not responsible for entries NOT received due to communication errors.
SHOW HOURS: Check in 7:30am to 8:30am, with judging beginning at 9:00a.m. Advertised hours 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. All entries must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing time unless permission is received from the show manager.
SHOW HALL/HOTEL: Holiday Inn-Mansfield 31 Hampshire St. Mansfield, MA 02048 Phone 508-339-2200. This is a non-smoking facility. FREE PARKING. Cats will not be permitted in the show hall overnight. The show hall is air-conditioned and is handicapped accessible. People food will be available.
AIRPORT: Boston's Logan International (BOS) is approximately 35 miles or about 45 minutes from the show hall.
SHOW SUPPLIES: Litter will be supplied. Please bring your own litter pan, water bowl, and cat food. Cages are approximately 22x22x22. People food will be available.
CFA RULES: It is advised that all entries be tested for FELV, and be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against Feline Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus and Rabies before entry. Claws of all four feet must be clipped prior to benching. No declawed cats may entered. All cats must be free of fleas, fungus earmites, and any contagious illness. Show Management reserves the right to cause the removal of any cat from the show hall of any of the above until a licensed veterinarian can make an examination at the exhibitor’s expense. All championship, premiership, and registered kitten entries will be scored for CFA regional and national awards. This show will be conducted under current CFA rules. A copy of the rules may be obtained by sending $7.00 to CFA 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
SALES CAGES: There will be a limit of one double sales cage per exhibitor. To have a sales cage you must have at least one CFA registered entry in the show. Kittens must be at least four months old. CFA litter registrations will be required by show management. There is a maximum of two kittens or one cat per single cage. All sales animals must be in a cage. Positively no cats or kittens will be allowed in carriers under the tables.
CAGES: A single cage measures 22”x 22” x 22”, a double cage measures 22” x 22”x 44”. Bring your own litter pans and food; litter will be provided.
Half Moon Cat Club reserves the right to substitute judges in case of illness or emergency.
