Extra 1/2 Cage NOTE: double cages will be used; if you do not purchase the extra 1/2 cage you WILL have someone else’s cat sharing your cage (1/2 cage size is 2’x2’x4’h, double is 2’x4’x4’h). The purchase of an Extra 1/2 Cage is required for all security cages. Groom spaces on a first come/first served basis.
Entry Info: You must enter each show separately. Fees listed (unless otherwise specified) are for 1 show. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. Online entries should be confirmed by email; it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm entries have been received and to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. All online entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Make checks payable to “CFA WCC Show”. Credit card/PayPal payments accepted online at http://catalog.cfa.org/credit-card.shtml Enter amount being paid and note that it’s for a “WCC Entry Fee.”
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the current show rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
Show Hall & Show Hotel: The Rio Casino & Hotel 3700 W Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89103 PH 866-746-7671. Our show hall is air conditioned or heated (depending upon the weather); handicap accessible; Smoking is not permitted. Parking is FREE. Food: “People” food available. No outside food allowed in show hall. Contracted room rate is $109 + $29 resort fee per day which includes WiFi access (sorry, no way around the resort fee in Las Vegas). Reserve your room online https://aws.passkey.com/go/SRLVC7 to avoid the $15 processing fee for call in reservations. Reserve before April 9, 2017 cut-off date.
Show Hours: CHECK IN Friday 3:30 -5 pm. Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 - 8:30 am; cats not benched by 8:30 am will be marked absent and late exhibitors must notify the clerk in EACH ring that they are present. JUDGING will start promptly at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. OFFICIAL SHOW HOURS 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday and 9 am - 4 pm on Sunday. No cats will be permitted to leave the show hall during official, posted show hours without permission of show management. No cage may be dismantled without the show manager’s approval until all judges have completed their finals.
Amenities: Litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter trays, food, and dishes.
Household Pet Info: HHP 8 months of age or older must be spayed or neutered. ALL nails must be clipped and cats should be bathed. Contact the show manager if this is your first show and you have questions. VETERANS: Must be pedigreed and at least 7 years old to be entered in this class.
Health: This is a non-vetted show. All cats and kittens are expected to be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites and all contagious diseases. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. No kittens under four months of age will be permitted in the show hall.
