Entry Info: All Entry Fees include CFA surcharge. Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. All entries including "Exhibition Only" and "For Sale" must be entered on an official entry form."For Sale" or "Exhibition Only" entries must be accompanied by a competitive entry. Only cats entered in the show will be allowed in the show hall. All others will be removed. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. Show Hours: Check-in is from 8:30-9:30 am, any cat not benched by 9:30 will be marked absent. Please report any transfers or absentees at check-in. Judging will begin at 10 am on Saturday and at 9 am on Sunday. Advertised hours are 10 am – 5 pm both days on Saturday and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Hotel Info: The club does not have an official show hotel, but there are numerous pet friendly hotels in the San Jose area. DoubleTree by Hilton is near the airport 408-453-4000. Google "pet friendly hotels in San Jose" for other options. Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed. Additional Info: Single cage size is approximately 21"x21"x21" and is included with your entry fee. Double cage size is 21"x21"x45 (if you purchase and extra 1/2 cage or have 2 entries) Exhibitors with an odd number of entries using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Kittens under 4 months are not permitted in the show hall or on the show grounds. No cats or kittens may be left in the show hall overnight. Only benched cats and kittens are permitted in the show hall, none may be confined in carriers. Litter will be provided, bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top and bottom of cage. Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. By entering this show exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and the show committee and to adhere to CFA show rules.
