Show Hall/Show Hotel - Holiday Inn 3315 Ordway Dr, Roanoke, VA 540-362-4500. The show hall is Non-Smoking, air-conditioned and handicapped-accessible. Rate $79.95 plus a refundable pet deposit. The Holiday Inn Hotel Roanoke is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and is centrally located to downtown Roanoke. Just 2 miles off I-81 and 1 mile from the Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA) with complimentary airport shuttle.
Entries - This is a CFA licensed show. Submit all entries on official CFA entry forms, available from the entry clerk. Entries are to be typed or printed neatly. Entry clerk will call collect if questions arise concerning your entry. Make checks payable to Star City Cat Fanciers. (Foreign entries must be made in the form of US money order or a bank draft on a US bank). All fees and benching requests must accompany entries. Only one benching request. If an agent is listed, the agent will be considered your benching request. Benching And Show Hours - Check-in is from 8 AM to 9:30 AM Saturday. Judging begins promptly at 10 AM. Report any transfers or absentees at check-in. Judging will start at 9:00 AM on Sunday. Advertised closing is 4 PM Saturday and Sunday. Ribbons And Rosettes - All ribbons and rosettes required by CFA show rules will be awarded. General Information - All championship, premiership & registered kittens whose numbers appear in the catalog will be scored or CFA national & regional awards. Registration numbers for all entries over 8 mos. must be printed in the catalog. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced. For a copy contact CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736. All entries are expected to be free of fleas, fungus and infectious illnesses. All exhibitors are strongly advised to have cats & kittens inoculated for feline enteritis, rhino and calici viruses & tested negative for FELV before entry. Back and front claws must be clipped. Declawed cats are not eligible. Star City CF reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship & non-premiership classes. Neither club nor Holiday Inn can accept liability for items left in show hall over night. No cats may remain in the showhall overnight. Cages are approximately 22” x 22” x 22”. New exhibitors should bring cage drapes or towel, etc., for the floor, sides and the top of the cage. Tell entry clerk if this is your first show. Litter will be provided. Bring a litter box.
