Entries: Entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form or online. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to confirm receipt of entries. Club is not responsible for online and faxed entries not received due to communication errors. Paid entries will be entered before on-line and fax entries. Registration number of cats must be printed in the catalog; registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify Entry Clerk of any errors.All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Payments and Fees: Online and faxed entries will be accepted at no additional charge if paid before the day of the show. Entries paid at the door must be in cash. Hours: Check-In 7:30 - 8:30 am. Hours for exhibiters are 9 am until the end of judging. Advertised public hours are 9 am – 4 pm. Show Hall: Colonial Building @ Richmond Raceway Complex 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222 Phone: 804-228-7506. The Show Hall is both heated and air-conditioned. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators. People Food: There will be no food available at the show hall. Judging will stop for 30 minutes to allow you to go out to nearby food places. Your own food/coolers are welcome. Show Hotel: There is no official show hotel but there are a number of pet friendly hotels in the area; Clarion Hotel Central3207 N Blvd. Richmond, VA 23230 Ph: 804-359-9441 is the closest hotel. Supplies: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and water/food dishes. Health: This is a non-vetted show. Southern Dixie strongly recommends testing for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be asked to leave the show hall. General: CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All Championship, Premiership & registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National/Regional Awards. Household Pets: HHPs will be judged in all 6 rings. Adult cats (8 month or older) must be altered. Kittens must be at least 4 months of age. Household pets are not eligible for competition if they have been de-clawed. All cats must be entered prior to closing. Benching: All benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Cages are 22"W x 22"H x 22"D. Use of security cage with a single entry will require the purchase of an extra 1/2 cage. End of Row with single entry must purchase an extra 1/2 cage.
