Make Checks Payable to: Shorthairs Unlimited. The entry clerk will call collect to clarify entries if necessary. Fees must accompany entries and will not be refunded for failure to bench. FAX or Email entries must be paid within 10 days of receipt or at check-in; whichever comes first per CFA Show Rules. An extra fee of $50 will be added for returned checks. Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV, Provisional, Veterans, and Miscellaneous classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog. Kittens must be 4 months of age or older on the day of the show. Health: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly recommended that all entries be inoculated for protection against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici viruses, and tested negative for FeLV. All entries must be free of fungus and parasites. All entries must have claws clipped. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA Show Rules. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. For a copy of the current CFA Show Rules, send $5.00 to the Cat Fanciers' Association, P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. The club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and Household Pet classes. Benching: Cage size is 22" x 22" x 20". Personal cages wider than 22" must purchase a grooming space. Only one cat or two kittens per cage. A breeder who has For Sale Only and/or Exhibition Only kittens/cats must have a kitten/cat entered in competition. No kittens for sale can be housed in crates under the cages. Benching requests will be honored whenever possible (1 request per agent/exhibitor). Please, no negative benching. Benching changes will be made only with permission of a show manager. Show Hours: Check in is between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. Judging will begin at 9:00 AM. The show hall is handicapped accessible and it will be air conditioned or heated, as necessary. People food will be available. Advertised show hours are 10::00 AM – 5:00 PM.
