Show Hall: J.M. McDonald Sports Complex 4292 Fairgrounds Dr, Cortland, NY 13045 Phone: 607-753-8100. The show hall is handicapped accessible and nonsmoking. Show management will take all reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors; however, neither the club, its members, nor the facility shall not be liable for loss or damage to such property. Judging and benching areas are contained however special care should be taken to avoid “cat loose” situations. Show hall is not air conditioned but has good air flow.
Entries: You MUST enter each show SEPARATELY! It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to contact the Entry Clerk to confirm receipt of online or fax entries. The Entry Clerk/Club will not be responsible for entries lost due to communication errors. Per show rule 6.21 a.; all entries must be accompanied by proper entry fees. Entries sent online or faxed must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first.; Club shall charge $25 for entry fee nonpayment beyond 10 days. Make checks payable to Fantastic Felines of Central NY for Saturday’s show; US$ checks only. Returned check fee is $50. CASH ONLY AT THE DOOR. No refunds made once your entry is received or for failure to bench. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number.

Entry check-in is 11 – 11:30 am. on Saturday. Judging will begin at 12 NOON. Advertised show hours: 12 pm – 6 pm. Check-in on Sunday ia at 7:30 to 8:30 am. Judging will begin at 9 am on Sunday. All benched entries, with the exception of kittens, must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing hour of 4 pm unless permission is received by the show manager.
Benching: Use of ANY size security cage with odd numbered entries will require purchase of an extra 1/2 cage space. End of Row with single requires the purchase of an Extra 1/2 Cage Space. Single cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22". Limit one (1) benching request per exhibitor Please bring cage curtains, fabric or towels to cover top, sides and back of cages. Litter will be provided; please bring food & water bowls and litter pans. Show Management will take all reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors, however neither the club nor the hotel will be liable for loss or damage to such property. Fantastic Felines of Central NY and Salt City Cat Club reserve the right to substitute judges in case of illness or emergency.
Exhibitor Information: No litter pans will be provided -- we remind exhibitors to bring their own. The claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. No declawed entries are permitted. Cats & kittens should be clean and free of fungus, fleas, ear mites, and any contagious or infectious illness. There will be no veterinarian inspection prior to benching. However, it is strongly advised that all entries be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies, and strongly recommended that entries be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. The State of New York mandates current rabies inoculation for all cats, it is advisable that you bring your cat's certificate(s). No kitten under the age of 4 months shall be permitted in the show hall. Only benched cats or kittens may be present in the show hall and none may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages.
All cats or kittens for sale or lease must be benched in the benching area, and must be eligible for CFA registration. The person offering the cat or kitten for sale must have an entry in the show and must ensure an enclosed, secured carrier is used for the transport of the cat being sold. Any sales activity is subject to the approval of the show management. Exhibitors must transport cats into and out of the show hall in an enclosed, secured carrier. No exhibitor may leave cats or kittens in the show hall overnight. First-time exhibitors should contact the show manager for assistance.
