Household Pets will be judged in all 8 rings. Entry: All fees and benching request must accompany entries. Only one benching request or agent request per exhibitor will be honored. Print or type all information on an official, signed CFA entry form. The Entry Clerk will call collect if questions arise concerning your entry. No phone entries, credit cards, or post dated checks will be accepted. Make checks payable to Oriental Shorthairs of America. All funds must be in U.S. currency. There will be a $50 service charge for returned checks. Email Entry Clerk to confirm receipt of online entries. *$40 for the first and second Oriental entries. Multiple entry rates apply for third and up. Show Hall: ORANGE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, Middletown, NY. The show hall is heated. No smoking in show hall. Reasonable care will be taken of cats and personal property, but the show management and Oriental Shorthairs of America are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages. Litter will be provided. New exhibitors are advised to bring cats in suitable, secure carriers. Please bring your own cat food, food and water bowls, and grooming aids. Health: No veterinary inspection will be required, although all cats should be inoculated against feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and should be tested for FeLV. Rabies vaccination is required. Cats must be free of fleas, mites, and fungus. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Eligibility: Only CFA registered cats are eligible for entry. Kittens need not be registered but must be registerable. All kittens present in the show hall must be over 4 months of age. NO declawed cats will be allowed. Awards: All ribbons and rosettes required by CFA show rules will be awarded. Designated flats will be used where applicable. Cloth flats will be available upon request. OSA reserves the right to substitute judges in case of emergency. All entries with a valid CFA registration numbers that are printed or written in ink in the Master Clerk catalog will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. Cages: Size approximately 22" x 22" x 22"; bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top & bottom of cage. Show Rules: CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced.
