Show Hall: Dover Middle School Gymnasium 16 Daley Dr (Exit 7 Rt108S off Spaulding Turnpike, then 1/4 mile) Dover, NH 03820 Phone 603-742-3172. The show Hall is heated, handicapped accessible and both hall and school grounds are non-smoking per New Hampshire law. No food or drink is allowed in the benching area (gym) – seating for food is within the building outside the show hall. Food service call-in and delivery is provided by StraffordHouseOfPizza.com 603-749-9422, 1 mile from the show hall; the club will provide menus. Show management will take all reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors. However, neither the club, its members, nor the show hall shall be liable for loss or damage to such property.
Entry & Payment Info: Entries are accepted now. properly completed must be submitted by exhibitors in the form of an official CFA entry form or facsimile, or an entry sent online following such entry form, with all information except signature typed or hand-printed. The use of the online entry form is interpreted as an official entry in this CFA show, and your email address on the online entry form is considered to be your signature per CFA Show Rule 6.20. If you are faxing or using the online entry form, please confirm receipt. No phone entries accepted. All fax or online entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Club shall charge $25 for entry fee nonpayment beyond the 10-day limit in CFA Show Rule 6.21. All checks must be paid in U.S. funds. No refunds will be given once your entry has been received or for failure to bench.
Benching: Single cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22" and is included with your entry fees. *Exhibitors with a single entry using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. **EOR Fee waived for handicap exhibitors. Limit one benching / agent request per exhibitor. No litter pans will be provided – we remind exhibitors to bring their own.
Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
Show Hours: Entry check-in is at 8:30 to 9:30 am on Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 10 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday. No change of benching assignments shall be made without the permission of the show manager. All benched entries, with the exception of kittens, must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing hour of 5 pm Saturday and 4 pm Sunday.
Health & Cat/Kitten Sales Info: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of each entry must be clipped prior to benching. Failure to do so will subject the entry to disqualification. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. The State of New Hampshire mandates current rabies inoculation for all cats and health certificates current within 10 days for cats/kittens being sold; it is advisable that you bring your cat's certificate(s). No kitten under the age of 4 months shall be permitted in the show hall. Only benched cats or kittens may be present in the show hall – none may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages. All cats or kittens for sale or lease must be benched in the benching area, and must be eligible for CFA registration. The person offering the cat or kitten for sale must have an entry in the show and must ensure an enclosed, secured carrier is used for the transport of the cat being sold. Any sales activity is subject to the approval of the show management. Exhibitors must transport cats into and out of the show hall in an enclosed, secured carrier. No exhibitor may leave cats or kittens in the show hall overnight. First-time exhibitors should contact the show manager for assistance.
Show Hotel: Dover Comfort Inn & Suites 10 Hotel Dr. Dover, NH 03820 Phone 603-750-7507. The hotel is 3 1/2 miles from the show hall and has complimentary shuttle service to anywhere within 10 miles of the hotel. The show room rate is $94 per night, waived pet fee and includes full breakfast. Show room rate is being held until Oct.29 – phone the local number and cite “NH Feline” to obtain show room rate. All reservation cancellations must be made no later than 4 PM the day before arrival. All cats must be confined to cages or bathroom. Hotel towels cannot be used for cats. Exhibitors must sign damage agreement with credit card back-up at check-in.
Show Rules of CFA will be strictly observed. Any person entering a cat or kitten shall by such act agree to abide by, and this person and the entry of this person shall be subject to, these rules. Official CFA show rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
