Entries: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm all online entries with the Entry Clerk; the club will not be responsible for misdirected entries. Per show rule 11.08 a.; each entry must be accompanied by stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to start of show. Make checks payable to Mo-Kan Cat Club, Inc. Returned Check/Late Payment Fee is $50. Send PayPal payments to mokancatclub@hotmail.com No refunds once your entry has been received or for failure to bench. Please inform the entry clerk if you are bringing your own cages. Single entries with ANY size security cage requires the purchase of an extra 1/2 cage. This show is licensed by The Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. All CFA rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the rules may be obtained from CFA for $7 260 E. Main St., Alliance, Ohio 44601. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Show Hall: KCI Expo Center 11730 NW Ambassador Dr. Kansas City, MO 64153. Phone: 816-841-1930. The show hall is handicapped accessible and heated/air conditioned. Smoking is not permitted. Parking is free. Please enter from the rear of the building. The concession stand will have a selection of food for your enjoyment. No outside food may be brought into the facility. Airport: Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is 2 miles from the show hall/hotel and the hotel offers free airport shuttle service. Check in & Show Hours: Check-in Saturday 7:30– 8:30am. Show Hours: Saturday 9am–5pm, Sunday 9am-4pm. All entries with the exception of kittens and HHP must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing time. Early departure without permission of the show manager may result in all wins being voided. Show Hotel: Our show hotel is the Holiday Inn, KCI Airport, 11728 Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, Mo. 64153 816-801-8400, which is connected to the show hall. Mo-Kan Cat Club has secured a special show rate for our exhibitors: $70.00 plus tax for a room with one king size bed and $80.00 plus tax for a room with two queen size beds. The hotel has waived the pet fee for our show. Please leave your room in better condition than you found it so that we may continue to use this beautiful facility. Rate should be at Best Available then hit Check Availability. This will take you to the Room Block with the $70 rate for Kings and $80 for Queen/Queens. Rooms will be released on July 1, so book early – you can always cancel. Free airport shuttle service. NO KITTENS UNDER 4 MONTHS of age will be allowed in the show hall. This show rule will be strictly enforced. Only cats or kittens eligible for CFA registration may be sold. One cat or two kittens per half cage is allowed. THIS IS A NON-VETTED SHOW. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws must be clipped. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry (including HHP). Supplies: Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter pans, cat food dishes and water dishes. Single cages are approx. 21 x 21 x 21, double cages are approx. 21 x 42 x 21. Bring cage curtains of your choice to cover the cage sides, back and top. New exhibitors should go to http://www.cfanewbee.org for information on showing in CFA. Please advise the club representative at check in that you are a new exhibitor so we can answer any questions you might have. Neither the Mo-Kan Cat Club nor the Holiday Inn/KCI Expo Center will be liable for any loss or damage of personal property. We expect a large gate so please keep a watchful eye.
