ENTRY & PAYMENT INFO: Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to LAS VEGAS CAT CLUB or send PayPal is accepted. Instructions will be sent with confirmation. Returned check fee is $50 + all bank fees. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.
NEW SHOW HALL: Henderson Multigenerational Center 250 S Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, NV Ph: 702-267-5800. The show hall is non-smoking and has central heating and cooling. GRAND PARTIES ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED! We will also have food trucks available at the show.
SHOW HOURS: Check-In: 7:30 - 8:30 am Saturday. Any entry not checked in by 8:30 am will be marked absent. Judging will begin promptly at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised show hours are from 10 am to 5 pm (or end of finals) Saturday and Sunday. All exhibitors are expected to be present during advertised show hours unless given permission to leave early by the show manager.
SHOW HOTEL: Fiesta Hotel and Casino 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway, Henderson, NV 89015. Ph: 888-899-7770. The hotel is less than 5 miles from the show hall. For an excellent low room rate use group code: RCILVCC for Las Vegas Cat Club or click the link above; after selecting your arrival date, number of nights, number of adults and room type, check for availability. If all is good, click BOOK NOW. You will need a credit card to book the room and the reservation system will charge you for the first night’s stay and taxes. There is a $45 + tax one time per room pet fee. You can cancel any time up to 72 hours before arrival time for a full refund. If you have any issues booking online, you can call the hotel directly at 702-567-7247.
Airport: McCarran International Airport (LAS) is about 15 minutes from the show hall and the show hotel.
HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
CFA SHOW RULES will govern this show. A copy of the show rules can be obtained by sending $7 to CFA 260 E Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Rosettes will be awarded for all final wins. Permanent flats will be used, but ribbons will be available at the owner’s request. The club reserves the right to add or change judges.
CAGES: Cages provided are the standard DOUBLE size cages normally used outside region 5. A single cage is size is 21” x 21” x 21” and a double cage is 21” x 21” x 45”. If you have your own region 5 cage you will need to purchase a groom space. Cages are provided as part of your entry fee.
BENCHING REQUESTS will be limited to one exhibitor and will be honored when possible. No negative benching requests please. End of row benching requests will be honored as available, with the fee waived for disabled exhibitors.
AMENITIES: Litter will be provided, but please bring your own litter pans. It is also suggested that you bring your own food and water bowls.
NEW EXHIBITORS should bring a towel or rug for the floor of the cage and enough fabric to go around and cover the top of the cage. ALL CATS MUST BE BROUGHT IN A CARRIER.
