Check-in & Show Hours: Check-in is Saturday 7:30-8:30 am. Judging will start promptly at 9 am. Advertised show hours are 9 am - 4 pm (finals).
Show Rules: This is a CFA licensed show and all show rules will be strictly enforced. Copies of the show rules are available online http://www.cfa.org/Portals/0/documents/forms/15-16show-rules.pdf or for $7 from CFA 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
Supplies A single cage is provided with each entry; single cage size is 21"X21"X21"; full cage size is 21"x21"x45". Exhibitors with a single entry using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Please cage curtains or bring material to cover the sides, back, floor and top of your cage. Litter will be provided; please bring your own litter pans. *Free groom space for ring clerk – let entry clerk if wanting to clerk. **End of row fee is waived for our handicapped exhibitors.
Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed.
Health Info: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
New Exhibitors Please go to www.cfanewbee.org for information on showing in CFA. Please let the Entry Clerk know on the entry form and tell the club representative at check-in that you are new so that any questions you have can be answered.
