SHOW HOURS: Check-in on Saturday will be 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Advertised show hours for the public will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. SHOW HALL: The 4-H Building at the Maryland State Fairground Exhibition Hall 2200 York Road - Timonium, Maryland, 21093. FREE PARKING The show hall is both heated and air-conditioned. This is a non-smoking facility. SHOW HOTEL: Hampton Inn 11200 York Road, Hunt Valley, MD 410-527-1500. Ask for Freestate Feline Fanciers Show Rate – $89 king or queen Cut Off Date 9/1/09. Free shuttle to and from show hotel. AIRPORT: Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) ENTRIES: All monies must be in US funds and received within 10 days, per show rules. Make checks payable to Freestate Feline Fanciers. All entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form via Online, Fax or US Mail. Entry Clerk will call COLLECT if any questions arise concerning your entry. No refunds for failure to bench. GENERAL: Cats will not be permitted in the show hall overnight. The club will exercise due care on the sponsorship of the show, but will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced. Current rules may be obtained for $5 from CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736. www.cfainc.org All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All championship, premiership and registered kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional Awards. Registration number of cats must be printed in the catalog; registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify the entry clerk of any errors. SUPPLIES: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food and food & water dishes. HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show; however, all cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites, parasites of any kind and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall. It is strongly recommended that all cats are vaccinated against: Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and tested negative for FeLV before entry. The State of Maryland requires that all cats be vaccinated for rabies. Show hall management may ask for a copy of your rabies certificate. BENCHING: No change in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Cages are 22”W x 22”H X 22”D. Benching requests made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible.
