ENTRIES: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm receipt of online entries with the Entry Clerk; the club will not be responsible for entries lost due to communication errors. Mailed entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form and ALL entry fees MUST accompany the entry form. All entry fees are due within 10 days of entry per CFA show rules. Paid entries will be entered before online entries. Make checks payable to Foothills Felines; US checks only. No refunds once your entry has been received or for failure to bench. Sales cage must accompany a paid entry. Use of ANY size security cage with a single entry requires the purchase of an extra 1/2 cage space. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. SHOW HALL: Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium 385 North Church St. Spartanburg, SC 29303 Ph: 865-582-8107. The Show Hall is heated, air conditioned, and handicapped accessible. THIS IS A SMOKE FREE FACILITY. SHOW HOURS: Check-in is from 7:30am to 8:30am with judging to begin at 9 am. Advertised hours are 9am to 5pm. All exhibitors must remain in the show hall during advertised show hours unless permission is received from the show manager. BENCHING: Benching requests made at time of entry will be honored whenever possible - remember that this is a request not a requirement. Odd numbered entries with any size security cage must purchase an extra 1/2 cage space. Only one benching request will be honored; if an agent is designated, no benching request will be honored. If this is your first show, let the entry clerk know, additional information can be found at www.cfanewbee.org Single cage size is 22 x 22 x 22. Double cage size is 22 x 22 x 46. No more than 1 adult or 2 kittens per single cage space. Cages must be covered on the back, sides and top. Litter will be supplied. Please bring your own litter pans, food and water dishes. HOTEL INFO: TBA AIRPORTS: Greenville/Spartanburg International (GSP) in Greenville, SC is about 25 minute southwest of the show hall. Douglas International (CLT) in Charlotte, NC is about 1 hour northeast of the show hall. TRANSPORTATION: Regretfully, Foothills Felines will not be able to arrange for nor provide transportation for exhibitors. GENERAL INFO: No veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. It is advised that all cats and kittens be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian for feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses, rabies, and tested for FeLV before entry. Cats must be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites, and contagious diseases. All cats must have front and back claws clipped prior to benching. No cats under four months of age allowed in show hall. De-clawed cats are not eligible for competition. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Permanent flats will be used for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best & 2nd Best of Color Class, Best & 2nd Best of Breed. Rosettes will be offered for all final wins. Registration numbers for cats must be printed in the catalog. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced.
