Show Hours: Check-in time will be Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Judging begins Saturday promptly at 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Advertised show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 Sunday Show Hall: Del Mar Fairgrounds, Exhibit Hall, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014 The showhall is not heated and especially in the morning exhibitors should be prepared with sweaters etc. It has ample parking. Smoking is not permitted in the Show Hall. If you have small children, please control them. Show Hall and facilities are handicapped accessible. No Outside Food will be permitted in the show hall. This is enforced by the show hall and violators can be removed. Please support our efforts to keep this show hall. Directions to Show Hall: From either direction, exit Interstate 5 at Via de la Valle towards Del Mar (west). Continue on Via de la Valle past the intersection at Jimmy Durante and make a left at Solana Gate. Airports: Lindbergh Field/SAN San Diego (22 miles) – This is the large airport. McCellan-Palomar/CLD Carlsbad (14 miles) - This is a small airport with commuter services for American West and United. Entry Info: Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV, Provisional, Veterans, and Miscellaneous classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog. Kittens must be 4 months of age or older on the opening day of the show. Entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries where necessary. Fees must accompany entries and no fees will be refunded due to failure to bench. Show Hotel: Here are pet friendly hotels for exhibitors. NOTE : the club has NOT contracted or reserved a block with any of these hotels. This is a busy time of year in San Diego so get your reservations in early. Health: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly recommended that all entries be inoculated for protection against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici viruses, and tested and found negative for FeLV. All entries must be free of fungus and parasites. All entries must have claws clipped. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. Cages: Cage size is 36" wide, 24" deep, and 27" high. One cat or two kittens may be benched per cage. Note, if your security cage is longer than 36” you will need to request and purchase additional space(s) with your entry. Amenities: Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter trays, food and dishes. Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA Show Rules. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. The club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and Household Pet classes. Household Pet Info: Household Pets must be 4 months of age or older on the opening day of the show, and if 8 months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
