Show Hall: Columbia County Fairgrounds 58892 Saulser Rd. St Helens, OR 97051. This is a nonsmoking facility. Handicapped accessible. No Alcohol Beverages allowed on the Fairgrounds.

Airport Portland International Airport (PDX) is approximately 50 minutes from the show hall.
Entry Information: Entries: Make checks or money orders payable in U.S. funds to the Emerald Cat Club. CFA show rules state that entry fees must be paid within 10 days after entering or the day of the show whichever is first. There will be a late fee charge of $10 if payment is not made on October 15th or not postmarked by October 17th. Reasonable substitutions for no fee. E-mail entries will be accepted. Typed entries are preferred. Entry clerk will call or email for entry clarification.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count.
Check-In & Show Hours: Check-in time will be 8:30 to 9:30 am. Show hours are from 10 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday. PLEASE HELP US GET THE SHOW DONE BY 4 pm.
Benching: One benching request per exhibitor will be honored whenever possible. No benching changes are permitted without the permission of the show manager.
Health: No veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. We is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formally know a feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), rhinotracheitis, calici viruses, and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. Front and back claws must be clipped before benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. All cats are expected to be free of fleas, mites, and infectious illnesses.
Household Pets: Household pets are eligible only for awards in the Household Pet Class. Household pets are to be judged separately from all other cats, solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses are not eligible for entry. All Household Pets eight (8) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
Cages: A single cage 21" x 21" x 21" is provided with each entry. A double cage is 21" x 21" x 45". You may purchase a double cage for a single entry @$20. Back, sides, top and floor of cage must be covered. No more than one adult or two kittens per single cage. The club is requesting that no grooming spaces be placed in the aisles. A limited number of single cages are available.
Show Rules: The show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA show rules. These may be obtained for $5.00 plus $2.00 postage from CFA, 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Northwest Regional Awards. Rosettes and Ribbons will be awarded according to CFA show rules. No kitten under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. Blue slips may be required for proof of age.
Food & Litter: Litter will be provided. Cat food as donated. Please bring your cat’s preferred food as well as dishes and litter pans. People Food available for purchase - concessions run by the club. Apple & pumpkin pie, chili, chowder, soups and new sandwich options this year.
*Show Rule 2.19E: The MISCELLANEOUS (non-Competitive) CLASS is for any registered cat or registered kitten of a breed not accepted for Provisional Breed Competition. Miscellaneous class entries are examined by judges; however, no awards will be made in the class. All Bengal championship, premiership and kitten entries and all Bengals in the show hall must be registerable, (5 generation pedigree with no wild blood). A TRN can only be issued if the parents are CFA registered.
