Entries: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm receipt of online/fax entries with the Entry Clerk; neither the club or the Entry Clerk will be responsible for entries lost due to communication errors. Entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form. All payments must accompany entries. Fully paid entries will be entered before online/fax entries. No refunds for failure to bench. There is a $8 fee (per exhibitor) for anyone paying at the door, for ANY reason. * Any fees not paid by the end of show will be assessed a $25 late fee in addition to the $8 pay-at-the-door fee. One benching request made at the time of entry will be honored when possible, please remember this is a request, not a guarantee. Please, no negative requests. No additions to cages etc. after October 17. Sales cage must accompany a paid entry. Use of ANY size security cage with odd numbered entries requires the purchase of an extra ½ cage space. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors.
Hours: Check-In is Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Judging will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Advertised show hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Show Hall: Palm Bay Community Center 1502 Port Malabar Blvd. NE Palm Bay, FL 32905 Phone: 321- 952-3443. The Show hall is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators.
Hotel Info: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Palm Bay 1206 Malabar Rd SE, Palm Bay, FL 32907 Phone: 321-220-2003. Our rate is $77 per night with a $10 non-refundable pet deposit. Double occupancy, 3rd person in a room will be an extra $10. The room rate includes a full, hot breakfast! Group rate and rooms will be held until Oct 9.
Supplies: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and water/food dishes. Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia, feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall.
General: CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. Copy of rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional Awards. Registration number of cats must be printed in the catalog; registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk.
Benching: Cages are 22"W x 22"H x 22"D. Please bring cage curtains or other materials to cover top, bottom and sides of cages. All benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager.
