All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. *Can’t be used as 1st or 2nd entry if entering 3 cats or more. Check your confirmation for accuracy! Please contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE CLOSING DATE. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. PAYMENT INFO: Make checks payable to Delaware River Cats Club, Inc. US bank checks only. This club does not accept payments through PayPal. CASH AT CHECK-IN IS REQUIRED. $75 returned check or failure to pay any fees in full. Any fees not received by October 5, 2018 must pay the $75 late penalty. BENCHING: **No EOR fee for handicapped exhibitors and no single space at End of Row. Exhibitors with an odd number of entries using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Only one benching request will be honored; if an agent is designated, no benching request will be honored. Single cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22".Bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top and bottom of cage. Litter will be provided, but not litter pans. Please bring your cat in a suitable carrier. SHOW HALL: Nur Shrine Temple, 198 South DuPont Hwy. New Castle, DE 19720 Ph: 302-328-6100. The show hall is air-conditioned and handicapped-accessible; and is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free. The show hall will open at 7 am for breakfast; also serving lunch and snacks. “Chef” Sue Robbins is in-charge of the kitchen. SHOW HOURS: Check in: Saturday 7:30 – 8:30 am (show hall opens at 7 am for breakfast) Judging will start at 9 am on Saturday. Advertised show hours are 9 am – 5 pm Saturday. All entries must remain in hall until closing time unless kitten or HHP or permission from show manager. HOUSEHOLD PETS: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed. SCORING: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. No kittens under 4 months are permitted in the show hall. GENERAL: By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and the show committee and to adhere to CFA show rules. Copies of CFA show rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 E. There is another Red Roof in the Dover, Delaware area; plus one near the university in Wilmington. I have not stayed at either one of these. On the New Jersey side, and just before you get to the Delaware Memorial Bridge, there is a nice Holiday Inn Express that has a $10 per night pet fee. You can get a studio suite that has a queen size bed and a pull out couch for about $130 a night, so if you share, it’s not too bad. A single queen is less, In the $115 range.
