Entry Clerk will call COLLECT if any questions arise concerning you entry. A $50 fee will be charged on all returned checks, NOTE: We will accept fax, online and email entries. There will be a $3 fee for the first fax or electronic entry/exhibitor (this fee will be waived if payment is received PRIOR to April 25, 2008). Hours: Check-in on Saturday 8:00 – 9:30. Advertised show hours are 9-5 Saturday and 9-4 Sunday. Judging will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. Show Hall: Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 E. New York Avenue, Deland, FL. This is a non-smoking, climate controlled facility. Parking is fee for exhibitors and spectators. Auditorium phone is 386-734-9514. Please mention the cat shows to get the show rate. Supplies: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food and water/food dishes. Health: This is non-vetted show. Daytona Beach Cat Fanciers strongly recommends testing for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall. General: CFA show rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the rules may be obtained for $5 from CFA, PO Box 1005 Manasquan, NJ 08736. All cats/kitten must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All championship, premiership and registered kittens will be scored for CFA National and Regional Awards. Registration numbers of cats must be printed in the catalog; registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk. It’s the exhibitor’s responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors when the confirmation is received. Benching: All benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. No refunds for failure to bench. Cages measure 22”W x 22”H x22”D. Benching requests made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible. Remember that this is a request, not a requirement. Household Pets: Must be ovver 4 months old and have claws intact. All HHPs over 8 months must be spayed or nuetered. Directions: To be provided with confirmation. Daytona Beach Cat Fanciers will take reasonable care to safeguard entries and property of exhibitors.
