Show Hotel Red Roof Inn 5107 Market St. (I-40 Exit US-17) Wilmington, NC, 910-395-5045. Show rate $52.99, includes continental breakfast. Block #B653PAWS, until 3-1-08. Benching Check-in 7:30 am until 8:45 am Saturday. Judging 9:00 am until finals are complete. Advertised show hours are 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. No cats, with the exception of kittens, are permitted to leave the show hall before the advertised show hours except by permission of the show manager. No change of benching assignment shall be made without the permission of the show manager. Entry Information All fees and benching requests must accompany entries. No refunds for failure to bench. Phone entries and post dated checks are not permitted. Faxed and e-mail entries should be confirmed with a phone call or e-mail. Faxed and e-mail entries must be followed by a check within 10 days, but no later than check-in, per CFA show rule 11.08a. Any fees not received within 4 days of the end of the show (by March 19), will be assessed a $30 late payment fee. Make checks payable to Coastal Paws Cat Club. Entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form, which can be obtained at www.cfainc.org. If questions arise concerning your entry, entry clerk will e-mail exhibitor if e-mail address is listed on the entry form, otherwise, entry clerk will call collect. One benching request per exhibitor will be honored, when possible. If an agent is designated, the agent will be considered your benching request. Supplies & Cages Litter will be provided. Please bring cage curtains, fabric or towels to cover top, sides and back of cages. Food bowls, water bowls and litter pans will not be furnished. Single cage size is approximately 22”x22”x22”. Use of a security cage will require purchase of space equal to two single cages. Health & Sales This is a non-vetted show. All cats and kittens are expected to be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites and all contagious diseases. It is strongly advised that all entries be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calici Viruses, Rabies and strongly recommended that entries be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. Front and rear claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats and kittens are not eligible for entry. No kittens under four months of age will be permitted in the show hall. Liability No watchman will be provided during non-show hours. Cats cannot be left in the show hall overnight. Coastal Paws Cat Club will take reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors; however, neither the club, its members nor Cape Fear Community College will be liable for any loss, damage or injury to exhibitors or to their cats. General CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the current show rules may be obtained for $5 from CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736. All Championship, Premiership and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional Awards. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. Airport Wilmington International (ILM).
