All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Make checks payable to Coastal Paws Cat Club; post dated checks are not permitted. All payments at check-in must be CASH only. Fax/online entries should be confirmed by email; it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm entries have been received and to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. Use of Security cages with an odd number of entries will require the purchase of an extra 1/2 cage. No refunds once your entry has been received or for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor will be honored, when possible. If an agent is designated, the agent will be considered your benching request. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the current show rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Show Hall: The Holshouser Building @ the NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Rd. Raleigh, NC 27607 PH: 919-821-7400. The building is heated and handicapped accessible. There is no smoking in the show hall. Benching: Check in is 7:30-8:30 am on Saturday and 8-8:30 am Sunday. Judging will start at 9 am both days. Advertised show hours are 9 am – 3 pm both days. No cats, with the exception of kittens, are permitted to leave the show hall before the advertised show hours and no change of benching assignment shall be made without the permission of the show manager. Please bring cage curtains, fabric or towels to cover top, sides and back of cages. Food bowls, water bowls and litter pans will not be furnished. Single cage size is approximately 22”x22”x22”. Health & Sales: This is a non-vetted show. All cats and kittens are expected to be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites and all contagious diseases. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. No kittens under four months of age will be permitted in the show hall. Liability: No watchman will be provided during non-show hours. Cats cannot be left in the show hall overnight. Coastal Paws Cat Club will take reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors; however, neither the club, its members nor the NC State Fairgrounds will be liable for any loss, damage or injury to exhibitors or to their cats.
