Breed Summary Entry & Payment Info: NOTE: It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to confirm that your entry was received by the entry clerk. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. Show Hours: Check-in is between 8 and 8:45 am; cats not checked-in by 8:45 will be marked absent. Judging will begin at 9 am both days; the advertised show hours are 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Any entry suspected of having a parasite, skin disease or other illness will be removed from the show hall until cleared by a veterinarian, whose decision is final. Household Pets must be 4 months old to be entered and if over the age of 8 months must be neutered or spayed. No declawed cats are permitted. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall. Single cages are approx. 22 x 22 x 22. Novice Exhibitors: Let us know if you are new to showing; we are happy to help you learn about CFA and showing. Please bring cage curtains, grooming aids, your own litter pans and food.
