Show Hall: Earl Warren Showgrounds , Highway 101 & Los Positas Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93130. Directions From the South: Take Hwy 101 North to the Las Positas Road exit. The off ramp merges with Calle Real to form four lanes. Stay in the second lane from the right. Proceed on Calle Real through the traffic light. Turn right into the showground’s gate. From the North: Take Hwy 101 South to the Las Positas Road exit. From the off ramp, turn left onto Las Positas Road. Immediately you will find two left-hand turn lanes. Stay in the right-hand lane of the two left-turn lanes. Turn left at the traffic light at Calle Real. Turn right into the showground’s gate. Show Hours: Check-in time will be from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Judging begins promptly at 10:00 am Saturday and 9 am Sunday. Show hours are Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entry Info: Please type or clearly print each entry on an official CFA Entry Blank and be sure to sign it. Make Checks Payable to: Paul Raine's Solid Color Cat Club. The entry clerk will call collect to clarify entries if necessary. Fees must accompany entries and will not be refunded for failure to bench. FAX or Email entries must be paid within 10 days of receipt or at check-in; whichever comes first per CFA Show Rules. An extra fee of $50 will be added for returned checks. Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV, Provisional, Veterans, and Miscellaneous classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog. For hotels listed below, rates not list as they are subject to change...so book early! Please check Pet Policies when making reservations! Health: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly recommended that all entries be inoculated for protection against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici viruses, and tested and found negative for FeLV. All entries must be free of fungus and parasites. All entries must have claws clipped. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA Show Rules. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. For a copy of the current CFA Show Rules, send $5.00 to the Cat Fanciers' Association, P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. The club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and Household Pet classes. Benching: Cage size is 27" x 24" x 36". Personal cages wider than 36" must purchase a grooming space. Only one cat or two kittens per cage. A breeder who has For Sale Only and/or Exhibition Only kittens/cats must have a kitten/cat entered in competition. Benching requests will be honored whenever possible (1 request per agent/exhibitor). Please, no negative benching. Benching changes will be made only with permission of a show manager. Amenities: People food is available at the show hall. Good Food at Reasonable Prices!
